Message from GSS Chairman
Back in 1999, Gurudeva Social Society (GSS) launched its presence on this lovely island, KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN, with just twenty members, and presently it has become one of the leading socio-cultural organizations in Bahrain.
GSS is nothing but a social organization with structured groups of individuals who come together to achieve common goals and fulfill specific functions within society and to the nations where we are residing. The GSS MoU defines the hierarchical structure, which outlines roles, responsibilities, and relationships among members.
As per Sree Narayana Guru, an individual should be strong with education, which is the base for any strong organization, and only such organizations can eliminate evils such as caste discrimination and untouchability.
Over the past 25 years, we at GSS have had so many achievements, such as helping needy people, irrespective of caste or creed. In a nutshell, GSS is proud to announce that we have participated in many challenges and charitable activities.
Being a member of Gurudeva Social Society since 2009, Maha Guru blessed me to be part of the executive committee on various occasions and I presently hold the position as the Chairman of GSS. (Thanks to Maha guru and the members for electing me unanimously)
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Bahrain Government, especially to the Ruling Family under the leadership of H.E. Majesty King Hamad Bin Al Khalifa, H.E. Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the good-hearted Bahrain Nationals, without their willingness, we would not be able to form the organization nor operate it.
Tribute to Bahrain, a unique program was organized in October 2023 by the entire Sree Narayana Community Organizations in Bahrain, which was inaugurated by H.E. Ramnath Kovind (the former President of India) and Gurudeva Social Society (GSS) played a major part in that event.
Gurudeva Social Society, which is celebrating its silver jubilee (25 years of its existence on this Holy Island), still has a long way to go. GSS will be involved in many more charity activities in the coming years.
May God bless everyone.
Wishing everyone good luck.
